3 February 2026, Manchester, UK: Celebrating 100 years of audio innovation (1926-2026), Tannoy is set to enter a new era of connectivity at ISE 2026 with the launch of the CVS 601 PoE and DVS 601 PoE, the newest evolution of the company’s trusted installation series.

The new models retain the time-proven design and acoustic signature of Tannoy’s popular CVS (ceiling) and DVS (surface mount) series, while introducing the streamlined efficiency of Power over Ethernet (PoE). They will be unveiled for the first time at ISE, Barcelona (3-6 Feb) on the Tannoy stand, Hall 8, Booth 8A350.

Designed to reduce installation complexity without compromising audio quality, the new models utilise a wideband 6.5-inch driver known for its superior speech intelligibility and music reproduction. The shift to PoE allows installers to deliver power, audio and control through a single standard Ethernet cable.

Each loudspeaker incorporates a high-performance two-channel integrated PoE amplifier providing up to 60 W of output power. In addition to driving the primary loudspeaker, the amplifier can power up to three additional passive loudspeakers, enabling flexible, scalable system designs from a single network connection.

By delivering power, audio and control over standard Ethernet cabling, the new PoE models reduce installation time for retail, hospitality, corporate and education applications.
