phono cartridge created with the same attention to materials and finish found in the making of fine stringed instruments. Positioned between the EX500 and the flagship models, the EX700 combines natural tonal beauty with speed and resolution – craftsmanship chosen with musical purpose.

A cartridge crafted like a violin

The EX700 body is formed from the highest-quality spruce tonewood sourced from South Tyrol, Northern Italy– a region renowned for violin tonewoods. It is finished with thin layers of classic oil varnish, formulated with traditional materials including colophonium (pine resin) and linseed oil, supporting a sound that is naturally expressive and harmonically rich.

Crafted in Japan with a body carved from the Tyrolean tonewood from which Stradivari made violins, the new Analog Relax EX700 is an MC phono cartridge that sings like the finest stringed instruments
