Kilmarnock, Scotland 4 September 2025: Independent OFC screening on hot and cold conductors, precision-lay twist and wideband foamed polyethylene dielectric 4 with cold-welded airtight OFC pin connections. Atlas Cables announces Eos Superior 2.5em, a next-generation high-end power cable created to deliver clean, stable power and robust rejection of airborne and mains-borne RF/EMI. Designed for the realities of modern homes where wireless networks, Bluetooth and spread-spectrum devices raise the noise floor. Our new cable focuses on low series and contact resistance, safe, stable dielectrics, and advanced screening to unlock greater fidelity from audio systems.


Engineering Highlights


  •  Ultra-pure 2.5mm² OFC conductors with low series resistance for large current handling.
  •  Stable PVC dielectrics and mechanical damping to suppress vibration-related artefacts.
  •  Stratified/multilayer RF screen (carbon-loaded / OFC metallic woven) to block broad-spectrum interference.
  •  Atlas dual-drain termination dumps induced RF rapidly to earth to maintain a low noise floor.
  •  Low-contact-resistance AC and IEC plug terminations; damped plug bodies for stability.
