NODE Launches ATOM Loudspeaker Range at UK HiFi Show Live

Cambridge, UK September 2025 - British manufacturer NODE Audio will unveil its new ATOM loudspeaker range at this weekend’s UK HiFi Show Live at Ascot Racecourse (September 27–28). Combining advanced materials, proprietary acoustic engineering, and precision craftsmanship, ATOM marks a significant step forward in loudspeaker design and performance.

“We set out to create a loudspeaker that is both technically extraordinary and emotionally engaging - ATOM is that speaker.”

The range launches with two models: the ATOM 525 Standmount, available with an optional dedicated stand, and the ATOM 650 Floorstander. Both employ NODE’s proprietary patented Helical Transmission Line (HTL) system, extending bass response far beyond expectation for their size. HTL directs the output of the long-throw woofer into a central chamber, driving a helical passageway that reinforces and projects low frequencies with authority and control.

ATOM also introduces NODE’s patented MonoCell damping, made possible through additive manufacturing. This rigid lattice structure replaces traditional fibrous damping, doubling as infinite bracing to create an ultra-stiff monocoque enclosure. The result is a dramatic reduction in cabinet-borne coloration and a purer, more transparent presentation.

Every element of the enclosure is engineered for acoustic integrity. The sculpted cabinet eliminates sharp edges and flat surfaces that compromise stereo imaging, while the close alignment of tweeter and dual midrange drivers preserves soundstage coherence in both horizontal and vertical planes. Ultra-lightweight midrange drivers, designed without a traditional spider, for improved clarity through mechanical freedom.

Designed and manufactured in Cambridge, UK, ATOM loudspeakers are available in a choice of refined finishes to suit modern living environments. Cabinets are wrapped in bespoke multi-layer acoustic fabric for superior vibration control, while structural components are precision-machined from billet aluminum and polished to an immaculate decorative standard.

Visitors to the UK HiFi Show Live will be amongst the world’s first to audition pre-production models, with demonstrations taking place in Room 444.
