Elipson has launched the Premium Subwoofer - a range of 3 new active subwoofers.

The Premium range delivers controlled and powerful bass, with a sleek design and compact form. Designed to meet a dual requirement, the Premium Sub offers high-level acoustic performance whilst ensuring perfect compatibility for all hi-fi and home cinema applications.

The Premium SUB 10, 12 and 15 form the core of Elipson’s active subwoofer offering with a focus on versatility, precision and modernity that will partner the recently launched Prestige Facet II loudspeaker range perfectly.

Laminar Bass-Reflex Design with Internal Flow Guide

 One of the distinctive features of the Premium range lies in the integration of an internal acoustic guide within the front-firing bass-reflex port. This design element regulates the airflow generated by the cone’s movement. The carefully shaped internal baffle extends the internal acoustic path while ensuring smooth, laminar air velocity. This results in a drastic reduction of turbulence and acoustic compression, typically responsible for unwanted port noise and distortion.

Compact yet efficient, the Premium SUB 10 is designed to deliver precise and controlled bass in medium-sized rooms. Featuring a 250 mm fiberglass cone and a 300W Class D amplifier, it strikes a perfect balance between finesse and punch while maintaining a discreet footprint. Its front-firing laminar bass-reflex port, paired with a tuned internal guide, ensures clean low-end response free of turbulence, for both hi-fi and home theatre environments.

The benchmark of the range, the Premium SUB 12 is designed for demanding users looking for a combination of power, bass extension and acoustic control. Equipped with a 300 mm fiberglass cone and a 500W Class D amplifier, it delivers deep, impactful bass ideal for medium to large spaces. Its front-firing bass-reflex design with integrated airflow guide provides fluid, wide and distortion-free bass perfect for explosive action scenes and nuanced musical passages alike.
