Chord Company’s new tech, demos and offers at the NWAS...

22 June 2026, Wiltshire, England: Chord Company, the UK’s leading high-performance A/V cable manufacturer, has announced its plans for the upcoming North West Audio Show (27-28 June 2026), promising attendees a mix of exclusive technology demonstrations, free prize draws and tempting offers.

Located in the Nobel Room, Chord Company will host listening sessions running on the hour from 10-5 (Saturday) and 10.30-3.30 (Sunday) showcasing the Wiltshire specialist’s technology story from 1985 right up to 2026’s V-Links, which were first unveiled at The Bristol Hi-Fi Show in February ahead of their launch later in the year.

The ‘technology cables’ demos will include proprietary conductor, shielding and plating technologies, charting the progress in sound quality through increasingly advanced materials and in-house construction techniques.

Alongside the main technology demonstrations, visitors will get a first look at forthcoming, unreleased products from both Chord Company and sister company English Electric (EE).

The critically acclaimed English Electric EE1 and EE1Plus network noise isolators, along with the Chord Company GroundARAY and PowerARAY noise-reducing devices will also be available for specific customer requests in the demo system across the weekend.

Prizes to be won

Visitors to Chord Company’s Nobel room sessions completing the demo questionnaire can be entered into a prize draw to win a set of high-performance ShawlineX ARAY Analogue RCA interconnects cables and a limited-edition t-shirt.

Additionally, further prizes from the show organisers include a set of premium-quality ShawlineX speaker cables, plus a Shawline streaming cable (under 21s only).

For enthusiasts looking to optimise their home systems, Chord Company’s factory staff will also be stationed in the entrance lounge area throughout the event to offer tailored system advice and set-up support.
