Leema Acoustics’ co-founder and brand ambassador Lee Taylor will be getting behind the new Quantum-range Neutron DAC/pre and Graviton power amp at the 2024 Bristol Show (Room 412, 4th floor)
21 February 2024, Powys, Wales: Leema Acoustics’ co-founder and brand ambassador Lee Taylor, who has spent over a quarter of a century at the Welsh hi-fi specialist, will be getting behind the new Quantum-range Neutron DAC/preamp and Graviton power amplifier at the 2024 Bristol Hi-Fi Show.
The overseer of the new four-strong Quantum range, which will see the new Electron CD player and Positron streamer become available later in 2024, Taylor will be public-facing throughout the entire three-day event, co-demonstrating the new Welsh-made amplifiers, taking questions and offering advice to music lovers, supported by the wider factory team.
The Quantum project has been developed by Leema engineer Justin Bernard at the factory, which famously has full PCB facilities, enabling the company to build its own circuit boards and manufacture to the highest possible standards, with enviable quality control.
A perfectly synergistic combination of British-made DAC/preamp and class A/B power amplifier, the Neutron/Graviton combination represents one half of the all-new Quantum range which was conceived to celebrate Leema Acoustics’ 25-year anniversary in 2023.
The duo offers an incredible 13 inputs, a high-quality MM/MC phono stage, advanced headphone amplifier, plus a high-performance ESS DAC, all driven by an enormous custom-made toroidal transformer delivering 150 watts, enough to drive any loudspeaker. Balanced inputs and outputs offer even greater compatibility with a wide range of partnering devices.
