Spectacular sonic wonders lie in store at Ascot Racecourse this weekend at the UK’s premier high-end hi-fi show
Absolute Sounds – the UK’s leading distributor of high-performance audio equipment – occupies a capacious area on Level 5 of the show’s venue, the Ascot Racecourse Grandstand. All the latest launches from many of the world’s most prestigious high-end brands will be showcased in this grand space, incorporating two dedicated listening rooms where extraordinary systems and spellbinding demonstrations await fans of fabulous audio finery.
The show takes place from Friday 29th September to Sunday 1st October, with public access over the weekend and Friday reserved for press and trade.
Several brand representatives have flown to the UK to assist Absolute Sounds with demonstrations, including Mark Döhmann (Döhmann Audio), David Gordon (Audio Research), Irv Gross (Constellation Audio), Peter Mackay (Magico), Peter McGrath (Wilson Audio) and Bill McKiegan (Dan D’Agostino Master Audio Systems). These demos will be interspersed with a series of special presentations, with speakers ranging from Mike Valentine of audiophile music label Chasing the Dragon to Jay Jay French of Twisted Sister fame!

The UK’s longest-running show dedicated high-end audio, The UK Hi-Fi Show Live moved to its new location in the Grandstand at Ascot Racecourse in 2019. While virtually all other hi-fi shows are held in hotels, this show’s venue makes it distinctly different, with private boxes and other areas in the Grandstand serving as beautifully appointed spaces to discover and experience the best that the world of audio has to offer.
