Chord Electronics, Melco Audio and Chord Company at High End Munich Show 2023

Chord Company

Hand-building cables in England for almost 40 years (since 1984), Wiltshire’s Chord Company will be demonstrating the latest proprietary-technology products from the Wiltshire factory, recent examples of which include the new SignatureX interconnects from the 25-year-strong Signature range, plus several noise-reduction power devices, including the PowerARAY and PowerARAY Professional, and PowerHAUS power distribution blocks.

Chord Company’s expert staff will be on hand to answer any questions and to help get the very best from attendees’ music, cinema and games systems.

Melco

The original Melco digital music library was introduced eight years ago and elevated the performance of digital music to new levels compared to solutions based on IT components, such as NAS and PC/Mac.

Originating from Japan, where the user requirements are for outstanding performance and simplicity of use, Melco achieves its high standards by eschewing any recognisable computer architecture, and instead designs for the highest level of audio reproduction and music streaming.

Since Melco’s introduction, the basic platform and electronics have been enhanced in small increments, each bringing new functionality, increases in storage capacity, and further improvements to sound quality.

The March introduction of Melco’s all-new flagship digital music library, the SSD-based N1-S38, saw for the first time in eight years, the Japanese factory in Japan employ totally new electronics and radical mechanical design changes.

Now, echoing the company’s next-generation audio technology, Melco is planning the world debut of a brand new product at High End, exhibiting with its German distributor DREI H.

Like all of Melco’s product line, the newcomer will be made in Japan with audio-grade components and promises the gold standard in audio performance terms.

Chord Electronics

One of very few British hi-fi companies still hand-building in Great Britain, Kent’s Chord Electronics is set to unveil two new products at High End. The company is known for bringing and unveiling its latest proprietary-technology products to the show and this year is no exception.

The two products each come from separate product ranges within Chord Electronics’ portfolio of hand-made devices and will create an even broader choice for audiophiles to build hi-fi systems around.

Since its inception in 1989, building pro-audio amplifiers, the company has been founder-owned and run, and John Franks, founder, owner and chief engineer, will be at the show to help introduce the products and explain the unique technologies that Chord Electronics has become internationally known for.
