Seven years in the making but only recently introduced to the world’s audiophiles, Perlisten Audio has won unqualified recognition for its engineering excellence and innovation. Transducers, electronics and software have been developed entirely in-house; nothing has been sourced ‘off-the-shelf or contract manufactured outside the company’s production facilities. Precision in production and QC delivers optimum performance and enduring quality from Perlisten’s proprietary technologies, including its Directivity Pattern Control (DPC) array, comprising a waveguided dome tweeter flanked by twin mid-range diaphragms, engineered in a single unit to generate exceptionally accurate and natural dispersion and coherence from 1kHz-30kHz.
A Perlisten DPC configuration of three 26mm silk domes is utilised by the new ‘R’ Series loudspeakers on demonstration for the first time in the UK at The Hungaroring Suite. The 7.4.4 system includes the R7t 4-way towers, a matching R5c centre model, four R4i-LCRS in-walls for sides and rears, and four 3-way angled R4s designs for the height channels. In each model the DPC is complemented by multiple or single 165mm HPF polymer woofers. Supporting these designs are four D12s 3kW 2 x 12” push-pull active subwoofers incorporating proprietary amplification, DSP and App control.
The system will be driven by the beautiful new PrimareSPA25 Prisma AV amplifier and versatile A35.8 multichannel power amp through In-akustik cables. The SPA25 Prisma is a nine-channel integrated amplifier and eleven-channel processor, designed to provide superior home cinema performance by marrying the latest Atmos/DTS X processing, Dirac Live EQ, 4K HDR switching, eARC and Primare’s proven Prisma network player technology with prodigious power of 90W per channel, all channels driven. This generous power budget makes the characteristically elegant SPA25 Prisma the most powerful integrated amp Primare has ever produced. The supporting Primare A35.8 eight-channel power amplifier is designed to serve the needs of virtually any high-performance multi-channel system through its ability for each pair of channels to be bridged to mono for an astonishing level of power delivery and system building options, including 1500W of total output in a fully bridged bi-amped stereo configuration.
